Rocky Mt. National ParkTuesday July 3, 2001 . . . we went to Estes Park and Rocky Mt. National Park on the Trail Ridge Road. To get there we drove through the beautiful Thompson Canyon. High up on Trail Ridge there was a herd of elk, maybe a 100 or so. The view was breathtaking. Katy and I posed for a picture on either side of a continental divide sign. I was surprised that it was down in a pass and not at the top of a mountain. |
